Stress and Psychosocial Distress Scale with Blunted Oscillatory Dynamics Serving Abstract Reasoning

Figure 6

Alpha/beta power in the right superior temporal sulcus partially mediates the relationship between perceived stress and psychosocial distress. Mediation analysis revealed that the relationship between perceived stress and psychosocial distress was partially mediated by alpha/beta power in the right STS. The value in parentheses reflects the total effect of perceived stress on psychosocial distress, which remained statistically significant after adjusting for alpha/beta oscillatory power in the right STS. Significant indirect effects identified by bias-corrected bootstrapped confidence intervals are listed in the center of the model. Standardized regression coefficients are displayed. ; .
