RT-PCR analysis of ERK1/2, type II collagen, and aggrecan mRNA expression in relation to miR-155. Overexpression or inhibition of miR-155 has no effects on expression level of mRNA ERK1/2 in nucleus pulposus cell. Inhibited miR-155 decreases the expressions of extracellular main matrix collagen II and glycosaminoglycan while increasing expression of ERK1/2 (). .
