IDH1 Mutation Induces HIF-1<i>α</i> and Confers Angiogenic Properties in Chondrosarcoma JJ012 Cells

<div>HIF-1<i>α</i> contributes to the tumorigenic function of IDH1 mutation in JJ012 cells. (a) Colony formation assay with JJ012 parental and IDH1<sup>mut</sup> KO cells under hypoxic (1% O<sub>2</sub>) and normoxic (21% O<sub>2</sub>) conditions. 5 × 10<sup>3</sup> cells per well were seeded in 6-well plates and incubated for 10–14 days. Graphs compare effects of hypoxia and normoxia on the number of colonies in the parental, KO1, and KO2 groups.
