miR-320c negatively regulated CREB5 expression by targeting the CREB5 3′-untranslated region (UTR): (a) binding site for miR-320c in the CREB5 3′-UTR; (b) relative luciferase activity of CREB5 in HC-a cells (normalized to the Renilla luciferase); (c) CREB5 mRNA expression level, as determined by real-time PCR (normalized to GAPDH); and (d) CREB5 protein expression level, as determined by western blot analysis.
