Gel electrophoresis of PCR and MIF products for the rs755622G>C SNP was performed using the PCR-RFLP method. Numbers refer to lanes. (a) Lane 1 shows a 50-bp DNA ladder; lanes (2–4, 6) represent amplified DNA segments (undigested PCR product) with a length of 366 bp. (b) Lane 1 shows a 50 bp DNA ladder; lanes 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, and 19 are heterozygous mutant (GC) genotypes with 268, 205, 98, and 63 bp bands; lanes 6 and 8 are homozygous mutant (CC) genotypes with 205, 98, and 63 bp bands; lanes 4, 7, 12, 14, 15, and 18 are wild-type genotypes (GG) with 268, 98 bp bands. Lane 20 represents an undigested PCR product with a 366-bp band.
