Administration (i.m.) of P. hexandrum sub-fraction (G-001M), 1 h prior to 7–14 Gy whole body irradiation. Survival was measured upto 30 days. DRF was estimated as the ratio of the LD50 value of radiation in drug treated group to the untreated group. Experiments were repeated three times with six animals in each group and all the values are represented as mean SD.
