Effects of asiaticoside (AD), madecassoside (MD), asiatic acid (AA), and madecassic acid (MA) on histopathological changes in wound skin tissues. Various doses of the four triterpene compounds were orally administered after burn injury for two weeks. The skin samples were obtained at indicated days after burn injury, and stained by Haematoxylin and Eosin stain (H&E) and Masson’s trichrome stain. The presented images of H&E stained tissues ((a)–(d)), and Masson’s trichrome stain tissues (e) are taken from various groups at indicated days, magnification 100x.
