Wounds were classified as superficial if they affected only epidermal and dermal layers and deep if they included tendons or bones. Up to 7 days prior to application of bagged maggots. Natural products applied topically included medicinal honey and herbal extracts. A single wound over 180 cm of irregular shape was treated with 3 bags (>50 cm each) placed on different parts of the wound.
