Effects of Melastoma malabathricum Linn. extracts on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus IMR S44. S. aureus IMR S244 was inoculated at various pH values containing 100 mg/mL extracts; (a) pH 4; (b) pH 6; (c) pH 7; (d) pH 8. Cultures were incubated at 4°C. (○) control; (■) flower; (▲) fruit. The values represent the mean ± S.D. of triplicate preformed test for three times repeated. No significant differences ( ) were detected for all the means data within the same inoculation time.
