Chlorin e6 Prevents ADP-Induced Platelet Aggregation by Decreasing PI3K-Akt Phosphorylation and Promoting cAMP Production

Effect of CE6 on ADP-induced TXB₂ generation. Platelets (3×10⁸/mL) were pre-incubated with or without CE6 (7.5–30 M) in the presence of 1 mM CaCl₂ for 2 min at 37°C. The platelets were then stimulated with 10 μM ADP for 5 min at 37°C. After terminating the aggregation reaction, the supernatant was collected and TXB₂ production was measured using a TXB₂ EIA kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
