The effects of 5 isolated compounds on the cell proliferation of various cancer cells (MDA-MB-231 cells, C6 glioma, and A549 cells). (a) Antiproliferative activities of KTHs 7-1, 7-2, 13, 15-2, and 17 on the proliferation of C6 glioma cells were determined by MTT assay. (b) MDA-MB-231 cells, C6 glioma, and A549 cells (1 × 10⁶ cells/mL) were incubated with KTH-13 for 48 h. Cell viability was determined by conventional MTT assay. All of the data are expressed as the means ± SD of experiments that were performed with six samples. ^∗ and ^∗∗, as compared to the vehicle control.
