Antiproliferative and Apoptosis Induction Potential of the Methanolic Leaf Extract of Holarrhena floribunda (G. Don)

Percentage of colonies formed after the cells were treated for 24 h with methanolic leaf extract of Holarrhena floribunda. The paraformaldehyde fixed cells were stained with 0.5% crystal violet dye and the colonies formed were counted using colony counter. Colony formation inhibition at each concentration of the extract is expressed in terms of percentage of control and reported as the means ± SD of five independent experiments while a and b represent and 0.0001, respectively.
