Ma Huang Tang Suppresses the Production and Expression of Inflammatory Chemokines via Downregulating STAT1 Phosphorylation in HaCaT Keratinocytes

MHT inhibits production of inflammatory chemokines in TNF-α and IFN-γ-stimulated HaCaT cells. Production of TARC (a), MDC (b), RANTES (c), and IL-8 (d) were measured using the culture supernatants from cells treated with MHT (125, 250, or 500 μg/mL) and TNF-α and IFN-γ (each 10 ng/mL, TI) for 24 h. Silymarin (6.25, 12.5, or 25 μg/mL) was used as positive control. Values were expressed as mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. versus vehicle control cells; versus TI-treated cells.
