Effect of APN on the protein expression of antioxidant enzymes. (a) In the hippocampus of mice treated with SCO in the presence or absence of APN, protein levels of antioxidant enzymes such as HO-1, MnSOD, and CuZnSOD were determined by Western blot analysis. GAPDH levels were compared to normalize the equal amount of protein loading. (b) The protein expression of p-Nrf2 and Nrf2 was examined by Western blot analysis.
