Standard spectra of and in PTIO solutions were measured. The standard absorption peaks of different concentrations and dissolved PTIO solution were established. The first absorption peak of solution reflects at wavelength around 235 nm and second peak reflects at around 351 nm, which fully accords with the curves measured from our dialysate samples under the same conditions. Due to the fact that the linear relationship between the absorbance and the amount of / can be determined from the right panels, the total amounts of NO captured by PTIO solution can be quantified according to the absorbance in our dialysate sample.
