Dandelion Chloroform Extract Promotes Glucose Uptake via the AMPK/GLUT4 Pathway in L6 Cells

DCE increased the phosphorylation of AMPK in L6 cells. (a) The AMPK signaling pathway inhibitor compound C remarkably attenuated DCE-induced GLUT4 protein expression, but the inhibitory effects of Wortmannin and Gö6983 were less obvious. Summary results are from three experiments. P < 0.05 and P < 0.01. (b) AMPK phosphorylation in L6 cells was significantly increased after the addition of 30 μg/mL DCE for 5 minutes and 30 minutes.
