Vascular Protection by Ethanol Extract of Morus alba Root Bark: Endothelium-Dependent Relaxation of Rat Aorta and Decrease of Smooth Muscle Cell Migration and Proliferation

Inhibitory effect of concentration-relaxation curve on the phenylephrine-induced contraction with inhibitors L-NA 10μM (a), ODQ 10μM (a), TEA 1mM (b), and indomethacin 10μM (c) preincubated 30 minutes prior to phenylephrine. The relaxation response is expressed as the percentage relaxation of the phenylephrine-induced contraction (100% represent complete relaxation). Values are the mean ± SEM (n=5). P<0.05, P<0.01, and P<0.001, significant differences compared with control.
