Shenqi Fuzheng Injection Reverses Cisplatin Resistance through Mitofusin-2-Mediated Cell Cycle Arrest and Apoptosis in A549/DDP Cells

Cotreatment with cisplatin and SFI induces cell cycle arrest in A549/DDP cells. A549/DDP cells were pretreated with various concentrations (2, 3.78, and 35.18 mg/mL) of SFI for 2 hours and then exposed to cisplatin (40 μg/mL) for another 24 hours. (a) Cell cycle distribution by PI staining and DNA contents were determined by flow cytometry. (b) Cell lysates were prepared and subjected to immunoblotting with antibodies to p53, p21, and β-actin. Data are presented in the format of mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments (: P < 0.05, versus the cisplatin group; : P < 0.01, versus the cisplatin group).
