Aster glehni Extract Containing Caffeoylquinic Compounds Protects Human Keratinocytes through the TRPV4-PPARδ-AMPK Pathway

Schematic diagram for the functional mechanism of Aster glehni extract in keratinocytes. The effects of Aster glehni on skin barrier protection are mainly mediated via the sequential regulation of TRPV4→ PPARδ→ p-AMPK→ skin barrier constituting elements; also it is partly done by anti-inflammation through the inhibition of TNFα.
