DBT enhances fatty acid catabolism. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were cultured for 10 days of differentiation. Then cocktail or different concentrations of DBT₁₁₅₅ with/without cotreatment of BAMPTA-AM (10 μM) were applied for another 3 days, as in Figure 2. Total RNAs were isolated and reverse-transcribed to cDNA for PCR analysis. The transcriptional levels of CPT1A and HSL were determined by the Ct-value method and normalized by 18S rRNA.
