An In Vitro Verification of the Effects of Paeoniflorin on Lipopolysaccharide-Exposed Microglia

The mRNA expression of M1-like and M2-like genes affected by the administration of PF to LPS-exposed microglia. Exposure of LPS significantly upregulated the mRNA expression of M1-like genes, namely, iNOS (a) and CD32 (b), and the administration of PF significantly reversed these changes. Exposure to LPS exhibited the downregulating tendency of the mRNA’s expression of M2-like genes. While Arg1 (c) did not reach a significant difference and Ym1 (d) was significantly downregulated, the administration of PF significantly reversed these decreases.
