Effect of Ephedra Herb on Erlotinib Resistance in c-Met-Overexpressing Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer Cell Line, H1993, through Promotion of Endocytosis and Degradation of c-Met

Expression of c-Met and pMet in H1993 cells after treatment with methyl-β-cyclodextrin and EHE. H1993 cells were incubated for 30 min at 37°C in RPMI-1640 or RPMI-1640 containing 5 mg/ml or 10 mg/ml methyl-β-cyclodextrin and 50 µg/ml EHE. The expression levels of c-Met, pMet, and GAPDH were analyzed by western blotting (a). The density of each band was analyzed with an ImageQuant Las 4000 mini system without saturating the signal. The value is expressed as follows: ((the density of the c-Met or pMet band in cells treated with the test drug/the density of the GAPDH band in cells treated with the test drug)/(the density of the c-Met or pMet band in control cells/the density of the GAPDH band in control cells)) ((b) and (c)).
