Induction of Apoptosis in HeLa Cells by a Novel Peptide from Fruiting Bodies of <i>Morchella importuna</i> via the Mitochondrial Apoptotic Pathway

<div>Effect of MIPP on caspase-3 and caspase-9 activities in HeLa cells. Cells were cultured for 12 h and then treated with different concentrations of MIPP for another 12 h. The activities of caspase-3 and caspase-9 were determined using a commercial kit in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer. All experiments were repeated three times.
