Electroacupuncture in the Contralesional Hemisphere Improves Neurological Function Involving GABA in Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury Rats

Effect of 2 Hz EA at contralesional BL8 and BL7 points on GABA-A, BDNF, and PSD-95 in the thalamus in ischemia-reperfusion injury rats. Western blot analysis at day 15 after reperfusion showed no prominent differences in GABA-A, BDNF, and PSD-95 levels among the normal, sham, and EA groups in the hippocampus of the lesioned hemisphere and nonlesioned hemisphere.
