CE increases lipid content in aHSCs. The aHSCs were treated with or without CE (1 mg/ml) for 5 days and were then stained with Oil Red O and hematoxylin. Next, the cells were observed under a microscope (a). Stained Oil Red O was eluted with isopropanol and quantified by absorbance measurements at 492 nm (b).
