The Relationship between “Shofuku-Fujin” (Abnormality of Abdominal Examination in Japanese Kampo Medicine) and Body Composition by Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis: A Cross-Sectional Study

<div>Detection of Shofuku-fujin. Patients were examined in the supine position with their legs extended. Shofuku-fujin is diagnosed when the doctor palpates the patient’s lower abdomen with the hands, and the tension on the abdominal wall is clearly weak and easily collapses. Empirically, it is assumed to appear with aging or chronic debilitating conditions.</div>
