Ethyl Acetate Fraction from Leandra dasytricha (A. Gray) Cong. Leaves Promotes Vasodilatation and Reduces Blood Pressure in Normotensive and Hypertensive Rats

Effects of EAF (0.3, 1, and 3 mg/kg) treatment on the blood pressure of normotensive rats (NTRs) and hypertensive rats (SHRs).

The results show the mean ± S.E.M. of 6 animals in each group. Statistical analyses were performed by means of a one-way analysis of variance followed by Bonferroni's multiple comparison test. when compared to a vehicle, and when compared to EAF 0.3 mg/kg or EAF 1 mg/kg. MAP, mean arterial pressure; SAP, systolic arterial pressure; and DAP, diastolic arterial pressure.
