Tournefortia sarmentosa Inhibits the Hydrogen Peroxide-Induced Death of H9c2 Cardiomyocytes

T. sarmentosa extract inhibiting H2O2-induced H9c2 cell death. H9c2 cells are treated with different doses of the T. sarmentosa extract for 24 h and then treated with 100 μM H2O2 for 1 h. Cell viability (a) and cell death (b) are detected using WST-1 reagent or by measuring the amount of LDH release, respectively. Cell morphology observed under a light microscope at 40x magnification (c). for comparisons between two groups.
