Tournefortia sarmentosa Inhibits the Hydrogen Peroxide-Induced Death of H9c2 Cardiomyocytes

T. sarmentosa extract inhibiting the H2O2-induced expression of cell death-related caspases and production of ROS. H9c2 cells are treated with different doses of the T. sarmentosa extract for 24 h and then treated with 100 μM H2O2 for 1 h. The levels of cell death-related caspases are analyzed using Western blotting (a). ROS production is detected by staining the cells with the DHR123 dye and analyzed using flow cytometry (b).
