Geniposide, a Principal Component of Gardeniae Fructus, Protects Skin from Diesel Exhaust Particulate Matter-Induced Oxidative Damage

<div>Effects of geniposide on DEP-stimulated mouse skin. DEP (100 <i>µ</i>g/cm<sup>2</sup>) was applied every 2 days to dorsal skin for 6 days. On day 7, mice were topically treated with geniposide (1 mg/ml or 10 mg/ml, 200 <i>μ</i>l) or DEX (1 mg/ml, 200 <i>μ</i>l) or vehicle once daily for 3 days.
