Effect of nitric oxide (NO) on insulin secretion of isolated islets from experimental groups. Insulin release was measured during 1 hour from groups of five islets at 16.8 mmol/L glucose alone and the presence of aminoguanidine (AG) and L-NAME after overnight fasting.
