MicroRNA-34a Promotes Ischemia-Induced Cardiomyocytes Apoptosis through Targeting Notch1
Figure 2
Starvation treatment upregulated miR-34a expression and promoted apoptosis, while downregulation of miR-34a prevented cardiomyocytes from apoptosis attributed to starvation treatment. (a) qRT-PCR is showing the expression of miR-34a in H9C2 cells. (b) Expression of caspase-3, Bcl-2, Bax, and Notch1 in different groups detected by performing the western blotting assay. (c) The quantified results of the western blotting assay ( < 0.01 vs normal, # < 0.01 vs miR-inhibitor + starvation).
