Evaluation of Deodorizing Effects of Saccharina japonica in 10-Month-Old ICR Mice Using a Novel Odor Marker Associated with Aging
Figure 4
Ammonia concentration of dirty bedding. After treatment of EESJ for two weeks, the ammonia concentration was measured in dirty bedding obtained from a single ICR mouse, as described in Materials and Methods. Three to five mice per group were used to prepare the dirty bedding, and the ammonia concentrations were assayed in duplicate for each bedding. The data are reported as the means ± SD. compared with the vehicle-treated group. EESJ, 70% ethanol extract of S. japonica.
