Flow cytometry analysis of apoptosis in mimicNC-, mimic584-, inhibitorNC-, and inhibitor584-transfected 16-HBE cells after LPS treatment. The cells were stained with annexin V ± FITC and propidium iodide (PI), and incubated for 15 min in the dark. The fluorescent signal was further analyzed using flow cytometry after the reaction volume was made up to 500 μL by adding a binding buffer. The lower-right panel indicates the percentage of early apoptotic cells (annexin V-stained positive cells). Data are presented as mean ± standard deviation (SD).
