Protein-protein interaction (PPI) network and the enrichment analyses of 42 intersecting DEGs were performed in the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes/Proteins (STRING) database on Cytoscape software. Note: Five genes, including CXCL1 (C-X-C Motif chemokine ligand 1), CXCL2, CXCL8, IL1β, and PTGS2 (prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2) in the same cluster were chosen for the prediction of miRNA targets.
