[Retracted] Antihypertensive and Vasorelaxant Effects of Citrus aurantifolia Linn. Fruit: Proposed Mechanisms

Effect of the Citrus aurantifolia aqueous methanol extract on the mean arterial pressure of anesthetized rats. The animals in the control group were treated with normal saline (0.1 mL/kg), and all other groups received an aqueous methanol extract of Citrus aurantifolia (CA) at 20 mg/kg. They were previously treated with atropine at a dose of 2 mg/kg, propranolol at a dose of 1 mg/kg, captopril at a dose of 2.5 mg/kg, and L-NAME at a dose of 20 mg/kg for 10 min before injection of the extract.
