SSP promotes CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ expressions on TSM cells in colitis mice. Peripheral blood cells were isolated from mice and stained with different fluorescent antibodies; the cells were gated sequentially on living lymphocytes and CCR7⁺ and then on CD62L⁺ and CD45RA⁺ cells. The proportion of CD45RA⁺CD62L⁺CCR7⁺ TSM cells was determined. Then, Tcm cells were gated on CD4 and CD8, and the proportion of CD4⁺ TSM cells and CD8⁺ TSM cells in lymphocytes was analyzed.
