DSS reduced FN secretion and apoptosis of NRK-52E cells induced by TGF-β1. NRK-52E cells were treated, respectively, with TGF-β1(5 ng/ml), DSS (0.8 mg/ml) + TGF-β1(5 ng/ml), and rapamycin (10 nM) + TGF-β1(5 ng/ml) for 48 h (n = 3, per group).
