[Retracted] TGF-<i>β</i>1 Induces Interlukin-11 Expression and Pro-Fibrotic Effect by DNA Demethylation in Subconjunctival Fibroblasts

<div>TGF-<i>β</i>1 induces changes in the DNMT activity and expression in the HTFs. (a) Upon serum starvation for 12 h, the HTFs were treated with 10 ng/mL TGF-<i>β</i>1 for 0, 6, 12, and 24 h. The global DNMT activity was analyzed by a DNMT activity assay kit. The DNMT activity in the TGF-<i>β</i>1-treated HTFs was much lower than that in the control (<i>n</i> = 3).
