Geraniol attenuates ER-agonist activities. Geraniol attenuates (a) ERα- and (b) ERβ-agonist activities. Interactions between ERα/β and geraniol or citronellol at final concentrations equivalent to 25 μg/mL of Geranium oil (Table 1) or Geranium oil (final concentration: 25 μg/mL) were monitored using the RCAS for ERα and ERβ in the absence or presence of E2 (final concentration: 1 nM).
