Protective Effects of Alternanthera sessilis Ethanolic Extract against TNF-α or H2O2-Induced Endothelial Activation in Human Aortic Endothelial Cells

<div>Effect of A. sessilis ethanolic extract on TNF-α-induced increased sVCAM-1 release in HAECs. HAECs were pretreated with various concentrations of A. sessilis (25–200 μg/mL), simvastatin (2 μM), or NAC (10 mM) for 24 h followed by stimulation with 10 ng/mL of TNF-α for 6 h. The supernatant was collected for assay using VCAM-1 ELISA kits. The absorbance was measured at 450 nm and corrected at 540 nm. #P &lt; 0.05 as compared to the unstimulated control. ∗P &lt; 0.05 as compared to the TNF-α-treated group.</div>
