Protective Effects of Alternanthera sessilis Ethanolic Extract against TNF-α or H2O2-Induced Endothelial Activation in Human Aortic Endothelial Cells

<div>A. sessilis suppresses both TNF-α-induced endothelial hyperpermeability and increased ROS production. A. sessilis also prevents the reduction in SOD and CAT activities induced by H2O2. The endothelial barrier protective effect of A. sessilis might be attributed to its inhibitory effect on oxidative stress.</div>
