PNP treatment inhibited NF-κB activation in the kidney tissues of septic rats. The rats were treated with PNP (8 mg/kg) or vehicle immediately after cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) or control operation (control). The representative blots of protein levels of nuclear and NF-κB p65 and IκBα in the kidneys were determined by western blot analysis.
