Hypokinetic Activity of Menthofuran on the Gastrointestinal Tract in Rodents

Effect of menthofuran 25 mg/kg (MFur-25), 50 mg/kg (MFur-50) and 100 mg/kg (MFur-100) or scopolamine 12 mg/kg (Escop-12) on the small intestinal transit of an aqueous suspension of charcoal in mice (n = 8/group). Data are presented as the mean ± S.E.M. and when compared with the control group (vehicle) (ANOVA followed by the Tukey’s test).
