The effect of BREO, CLX, and BREO plus CLX on the cell area of MRSA 20651. CTR = untreated control, BREO = B. rotunda essential oil at a concentration of 2 mg/mL (n = 6), CLX = cloxacillin at a concentration of 256 µg/mL (n = 6), and BREO + CLX = B. rotunda essential oil at a concentration of 1 mg/mL and cloxacillin at a concentration of 16 µg/mL (n = 6). The cell area was calculated by the cell width multiplied by the cell length (nm²). Using one-way ANOVA with Tukey’s HSD, different alphabets indicate a statistically significant difference (). The data were presented as the mean and standard deviation of the mean (SEM).
