Effect of CVE on bradykinin-induced inflammation in ICR mice. Mice (n = 5) were injected with 1 µg of 1 nM of the bradykinin subplantar thirty minutes after oral administration of saline (1 mlkg⁻¹) or extract (30–300 mgkg⁻¹). In the therapeutic protocol, CVE was given 30 min after bradykinin challenge. Results were presented as the mean ± SEM. Prophylaxis: (a) time-course effect (b) AUC.
