Cross-sectional schematic diagram of greening system. A plastic board (brand name: TECO form) was used for the bottom plate, on which was placed a 5 cm bamboo charcoal sublayer for water retention, followed by a 10 cm layer of soil (well weathering granite). Lawn grass seeds (Zoysia tenuifolia) were sowed on the soil two months before starting the measurement.
