An 82-year-old man with gastric MALT lymphoma: (a) MIP image of 18F-FDG-PET showing no uptake in any lymph node regions, giving stage 0; (b) coronal whole-body CT, showing multiple para-aortic lymph nodes, thus giving stage II (arrow); (c) MIP image of DWI showing the same findings, as high signal intensity in the same nodal location, giving stage II (arrow). However, all techniques, even DWI, failed to find the primary gastric lesion.
