Usefulness of Endoscopic Indices in Determination of Disease Activity in Patients with Crohn’s Disease

Table 5

Correlations of results for evaluation by clinical indices (Crohn’s Disease Activity Index, van Hees Index, Harvey and Bradshaw Index, Oxford Index, and Cape Town Index) and two endoscopic indices (SES-CD and CDEIS) for patients with Crohn’s disease and control group (correlation was made between the five mentioned clinical indices and the most representative endoscopic segment). The same five clinical indices were correlated with histological index (Scoring System for Histological Disease Activity in Crohn’s Disease) (correlation was made between the five mentioned clinical indices and the most representative section in the histological index).
