Helicobacter pylori Exposure in Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy Increases Risk of Preterm Delivery
Table 2
Vomiting in pregnancy and H. pylori test results vary by race/ethnicity and type of health insurance. Subject numbers are shown for the University of Washington Medicine Discovery cohort. The presence of an ICD code indicating vomiting in pregnancy and result of H. pylori testing within 5 years of pregnancy each varied by race/ethnicity and health insurance type. Race and ethnicity are as reported by the patient, and one patient may be counted in multiple categories. Age differences are tested with the Kruskal-Wallis test, and race/ethnicity and health insurance differences are tested with a Chi-square test.
